Returns and complaints

Sometimes things don't go as planned... But if you want to prevent returns and are unsure about a product, please contact us before placing an order and we will help you as best we can to choose the right one. =)

Right of withdrawal

We comply with the Distance Contracts Act with a 14-day right of withdrawal. In order for the right of withdrawal to apply, the following applies:

  • The item is in new condition and may only be tested to check its fit, properties and functions. If there are signs of further use, an individual assessment will be made and an appropriate reduction in the value of the goods will be applied.
  • All labels and tags are still attached and the original packaging is intact.
  • The item must be well packaged and not have been damaged in transit when it reaches us.
  • The return is sent within the 14-day cancellation period.
  • The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been specially adapted, e.g. a custom-made drysuit or deck lines by the meter.

Changes

We do not handle direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product, please return it and place a new order for the desired item. See information regarding returns below. Once we have received the return, you will automatically be credited. Please note that shipping fees are not refundable.

Returns

If you want to exercise your right of withdrawal and return an item, please contact us via mail@plums.se and we will help you with a shipping label for the return. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer free return shipping, but the price of this will be deducted from the amount to be refunded to you.

Do this:
  1. Contact mail@plums.se, provide your order number and the item you wish to return. We will get back to you as soon as possible with a return shipping label.
  2. Pack the goods properly so that they arrive undamaged.
  3. Go to an agent and send the package to us using the return shipping label.
  4. Save the delivery receipt. This is proof that you returned the package in case it gets lost.

Relax for a few days after you have sent the return. The transport back to us may take a little longer than when we sent the package to you. We handle all returns in the order they come in. After a quick inspection of the goods, we will issue a refund to the same payment method used for the purchase. Please note that the original shipping cost and return shipping cost are not refundable. Once the return has been processed, you will receive an email confirming this.

Warranty and complaints

Products you buy from us should of course be free of defects upon delivery, but sometimes it happens that something is faulty. In that case, you can make a complaint according to the Consumer Purchase Act. In order to be able to make a complaint about the product, the defect must be original, that is, it must have been there when you received the product. In the event of an approved complaint, your product will first be repaired. In the second place, we will replace it with a similar or equivalent one. In the third place, we will compensate you for the product.

If you have received an item with a defect, we recommend that you email us as soon as possible. mail@plums.se with the information below:

  • Order number
  • Your contact details
  • Description of the error
  • Pictures of the error

Please note that different rules apply to companies regarding warranty and complaint rights.
