Here at Plums, we offer kayak rentals, group activities, and downstream paddling for anyone who wants to join us on the water! We pride ourselves on creating fun and accessible experiences that you will remember for a lifetime.
Based in the heart of Gothenburg, we want to help you discover the city from a new perspective – whether you are here for a weekend visit or have lived here your whole life.
Rent a kayak
There is a rental fleet of over twenty new quality kayaks that are suitable for both beginners and the more experienced. If you want to bring the children, we recommend one of our two-man kayaks, which is usually a very nice adventure for the family. We also have stand-up paddleboards (SUP) for rent.
Plum's shop and rental is located at Lilla Bommen's guest harbour, opposite Gothenburg Opera. A stone's throw from Nordstan and only a 5-minute walk from Central Station.
Guided city kayaking
It's no secret that the classic Paddanbåtarna (Paddle Boats) ply the moat in Gothenburg, but did you know that you can also kayak in the moat? Paddling in Gothenburg's canals is a different and fun way to experience the city.
Groups and companies
The Säveån Downstream experience is perfect for an after work or team building event. There really is no better environment to get to know your colleagues than floating along the river with the sunset as a backdrop as you paddle! We have options to end the trip either on Ringön or in Lilla Bommen, and we can recommend some great bars or restaurants nearby to end the trip.

Downstream Säveån
Join Plum's Säveån Downstream Experience. Meet our team at Partille train station where we will go over the tour and provide instructions so everyone is comfortable before setting off. Embark on a scenic 10km paddle down the Säveån River, often described as the Amazon of Gothenburg, which takes around two hours to complete. Perfect for everyone as we paddle downstream and are not strenuous. The tour ends at Lilla Bommen and offers an unforgettable adventure for nature lovers and paddling enthusiasts, or for those who simply want to discover an unexplored area of the city.
