Sunset kayak tour – guided tour through Gothenburg

During the summer, this tour starts exactly two hours before sunset . This departure is new this year and was created because many visitors during the high season otherwise miss one of Gothenburg's finest moments - the sunset during the long Nordic summer evenings. With this tour, you get to experience that magical hour from the water.

The tour departs from Lilla Bommens Hamn and takes you on a leisurely paddle through the city's canals and harbor areas as the evening light slowly sets over Gothenburg. The tour is suitable for those with some previous experience of kayaking, but you absolutely do not need to be an expert.

During the tour through the city's central waters, your guide will share stories about Gothenburg's history and culture, while also giving you tips on the best places to take photos. There's something special about paddling through the city center in the evening. While the bars are starting to fill up and music is heard from the quays, the water offers a peaceful and different way to experience the city's atmosphere.

Summer evenings in Gothenburg are something very special. The sun often sets as late as 10:30 PM, and as the evening air cools, the water often becomes mirror-like – perfect conditions for seeing the city's lights and skyline reflected in the canals.
