The tour starts at Lilla Bommen. Your English-speaking guide will make sure you have the equipment you need, including a life jacket and paddle.

After a short introduction, the tour starts from Lilla Bommen along the river and continues into the canal system. From the kayak, you will get close to Gothenburg's landmarks and see the city from the water.

The tour takes approximately 2 hours and is open to participants from 14 years of age with a maximum weight of 100 kg. Recommended clothing for physical activity, as water splashes may occur.

  • We did an off-season kayak city tour with Plums in late September and it was fantastic. As a couple we ended up the only ones on the tour, which made it feel personal and relaxed. Our guide was friendly, patient, and clearly passionate about Gothenburg - sharing lots of history and stories along the way. The instructions were calm and confidence-building, the pace was easy, and we felt completely safe the whole time. The kayaks were in great condition and the whole experience was anxiety-free and a really special way to see the city from the water. A highlight of our trip—highly recommended!
