Downstream Säveån kayak adventure.
The Downstream Säveån has always been our go-to for business groups from Gothenburg, and for good reason! The adventure begins when you hop on the train for a 10-minute ride to Partille, where you are met by our team. The station is just next to the water, making for an easy start and after a quick safety briefing, you'll be on the water and paddling with the flow back to the city.
While the 10 KM journey may at first sound far for beginners, the flow of the river makes for a relaxed, easy-going team building experience. Known as Gothenburg's Amazon, the river provides a lush green antidote to the hum of the city.
After a couple of relaxing hours on the water, the familiar sign of Karla Tornet will welcome you back into the city as you take on the final stretch to Lilla Bommen.

Kayak City Tour
Whether you have colleagues visiting from out of town, or you have spent your life here in the city, chances are that you won't ever have experienced the city center like this!
Our tour begins with a short introduction to kayaking focused on safety on the water and efficient paddling. If any of the party were at all nervous, they will be put at ease by our expert instruction before heading out of the harbor.
The tour follows a similar route to the classic tour boat route around the historic moat of the city and provides the same fun and engaging local stories about history, culture and the occasional ghost tale! What makes this tour quite different is the active element, engaging with the city in a completely new way whilst learning a new skill is a sure-fire way to find a new appreciation for the parts of the city that you have maybe come to ignore.
Often in the spring and autumn, we are gifted with evenings of glassy water and awe-inspiring sunsets, which will give even the most cynical Gothenburger a new appreciation for Hisingen's dramatic skyline!

It's quite a bit harder than kayaking, and you're more likely to get wet, what's the point in that? Well if your team thrives off a challenge, and don't shy away from pushing boundaries, paddle boarding could be just the thing for you!
A paddleboarding lesson can be a great way to foster team bonds through individual challenges by encouraging and supporting each other in a unique environment. If you think that paddle boarding is just cruising along into the sunset, think again, there are many techniques that can be practiced to increase confidence on the board, as well as options to try some 'paddleboard freestyle' for the adventurous among you or 'paddleboard yoga' for the more zen members of the team!
The great thing about a paddleboard session is that we can bring it to wherever there is water, for example, if you have a waterside office location such as Lindholmen, we can launch from right outside your off. If you have a quiet lakeside spot in mind, we can meet you there for a secluded nature experience.

Sometimes keeping it basic can be best, especially if the kayaking is just one element of a program of events or something you want to squeeze into a lunch hour. Simply packing a bag with a thermos and some cake can make for a very unique coffee break on the water, which definitely beats the same old sofa in the break room!
From May, we are offering a scheme called 'after-work kayak club' where you can literally paddle off into the sunset! All we ask is that you return by dark and send us some photos to let us know that everything and everyone is back safe and secure on dry land!
